Facing the needs of the development of tourism cross the Wisła River we have opened the ferry. The ferry „Serokomla” goes between two small towns Nasiłów and Bochotnica. It connects two tourist destinations such as Janowiec and Kazimierz Dolny. That allows for developing the tourism such as walking, cycling, and sightseeing in both picturesque towns.
It is named Serokomla in memory of former settlement, which today is called Janowiec. It can carry five cars at once, as well as tourists and cyclist. The ferry is 12 metres long and is 6 metres wide. It runs everyday, from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m to 9 p.m. Individual passages are available after earlier booking. The passage lasts about 5 minutes.
During the cruise you can admire beauty spots of the Landscape Park of Kazimierz. Both Nasiłów’s and Bochotnica’s main attractions are inactive mines, formerly used in process of extraction of limestones. Limestones were used to regulate the Vistula river and as a building material.
We bring you into crossing the river by the Serokomla Ferry.
